Still, I have become the family’s unofficial archivist and am slowly, very slowly, scanning all the old shoeboxes full of images my family has. There are slides and negatives and photographs dating back as far as the 1940s, as well as very very many from the 1980s and 1990s when the kids in my family were growing up. So far I’ve scanned more than 13,000 images over several years, and it’s still progressing.
But recently there’s been a problem – my cat has discovered that my scanner is often warm and has taken to walking over it and sitting on it.
The scanner I own has a button on the top which, when pressed, starts the scanning software on my computer. So of course Mr Cat will choose that place to walk over and today he also sat down … I think the light from the scanner was warm because he seemed to like it!
This was the result:
I thought it was a much better scan that most of the others I’ve had while I’ve been sick! And we all need a laugh now and again
I hope this brightened your day.
Cheers,
Ricky
The scanner buttons image is from Blacklord and used with thanks.

LOL!! That is something my cat would do! Ours walks across all the printers and the keyboards now!
Glad to see you blogging and hopefully feeling better!
